Joined the practice in 1997, as a partner.

Ian leads our work on cancer service development, and shares provision of our minor surgery service.

He is a GP trainer responsible for supervising our GP registrars.

Externally he works as a National cancer lead at the Department of Health, and is clinical cancer lead at Oldham PCT.

He has an interest and qualifications in outdoor, mountain and wilderness medicine, being able to offer advice about medical issues on expeditions or in remote/extreme environments.

He also is a keen sportsperson: mountaineering, rock climbing, long distance running, mountain/road biking and karate.
