Repeat Prescriptions

How do I Order a Repeat Prescription?

 

1)    Hand delivery or post 

Bring your repeat prescription slip it to the practice and pop it into the box at the reception counter, or send it to us using the postal service (preferably using the computer generated repeat prescription slip)

2)   Online

3)    By fax

Please remember to include your full name and address and the medication you require and fax to: 01457 876520

Repeat prescriptions which have been agreed with your doctor must be requested in writing.  Telephone requests for prescriptions cannot be accepted.  

 

How long will it take?

Please give us two full working days to process any repeat prescriptions.  Also, please take note of the time allowed before a review of your repeat prescription is necessary.  If you request an item that is not authorised as a repeat, this will take longer to process as approval will have to be sought from a doctor.  

 

Where do I collect the Prescription from?

Prescriptions can be collected from Uppermill surgery or from one of the local pharmacies , or can be posted as long as a stamped addressed envelope is included
